Baby's first backpack trip to Mineral King in Kings Canyon - 6 days in Aug. 2008 all above 10,000' in the hot, hot heat with spectacular views, a coyote serenade, chilly dips in the mountain lakes and a bear in our 1st camp site. Mom staggered around and had to nap after every meal and in a state of panic one night exclaimed through tears "all I want are some fresh vegetables!!!" Needless to say, they didn't materialize.
